My name is Liz
My biggest life setback was when I went through a divorce, before meeting my current gorgeous man.
I hold an MBA from Wits Business School in Johannesburg. I spent the first decade of my career working as a Brand and Marketing Manager for global companies like Unilever, Coca-Cola and Barclays Absa Bank.
I pivoted to coaching, becoming a Leadership and Executive Coach, empowering leaders to achieve professional success with clarity and confidence.
But my own life took an unexpected turn when I went through a divorce. It was one of the most challenging experiences of my life, filled with feelings of anger, disappointment, embarrassment, judgement, guilt, and fear for the future. I sought help and turned to a general psychologist, but the support I received wasn’t tailored to the emotional struggles I was facing as a woman navigating separation and divorce.
What I truly needed was someone who understood my pain, someone who could guide me through the chaos while helping me rebuild my sense of self.
It was when I applied the Positive Psychology tools I used in my coaching work that I eventually found my breakthrough. I learned to process my emotions, reclaim my self-worth, and rebuild my life from the inside out. I met someone special, and today I’m in a loving, fulfilling relationship. This transformation didn’t just bring me peace; it reignited my purpose.
While my own story was unfolding, I also realized something profound in my professional life. The women I coached in my Leadership and Executive Coaching programs weren’t just struggling with corporate challenges; many were quietly battling emotional pain, strained relationships, separations, and divorce. They needed more than strategies for professional success—they needed emotional resilience and personal healing.
That’s when I decided to pivot my coaching focus. I enrolled in a Mental Health, Mindfulness and Self-Care course at the University of Cape Town. I blended my leadership expertise with science-backed tools like mindfulness, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), self-compassion practices, and anger management techniques to create tailored coaching solutions for women facing life’s toughest transitions.
Today, my mission is to help women navigate strained relationships, separation, and divorce with confidence and grace. I believe every woman deserves to live a life of self-worth, inner peace, and joy. My values—empathy, resilience, authenticity, and empowerment—are the foundation of my work.
I envision a world where women don’t just survive life’s challenges but thrive in their personal and emotional lives, reclaiming their happiness and rewriting their stories. This isn’t just my work—it’s my purpose.
